About Heavenly Chalet

 

Walk up the stairs and straight out on to the balcony for a stunning view of the sunset across the lake and watch the stars come up, come in and have dinner by the fireplace and socialize with the other cabin members or head to your comfy pine wood bed.  In the morning get some work done then hit the mountain with others or head to the beach or town.  There is always something going on to join in on.

Location:  At the top of the mountain, just a 4 minute walk to the Heavenly chairlift and hiking trails, or drive 5 min down to the lake and one of the biggest best sand beaches in Tahoe, boating, horseback riding, snowmobiles all await there.  Casinos are 7 minutes drive away with active night life, or just walk 3 minutes away to the local pub restaurant.
 

Facilities: 3+ bedrooms (sleeps 12), stocked  new kitchen,  3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, dining room with a view, 2 fireplaces, computer work spaces, 4 person indoor hot tub, indoor sauna, and laundry.  Also access to outdoor pool and hot tub.

Black-out Dates: Exact dates vary and are on the registration calendar.  In general it includes 3 days before and after these 5 holidays:  Xmas, NYE, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day.  Also the entire month of July is not included in the Summer Share.  These dates are crazy busy in Tahoe and the cabin is usually rented out.

What is Unique:  This 3 story home is pristine and has stunning views from the kitchen and dinning room as well as the deck. Tahoe's most beloved beaches are just at the end of our road.  It is perfect for sitting on your laptop and working from a gorgeous surrounding, before hiking or skiing the mountain.  Upstairs in work and relax area, but downstairs feels like a ritzy party/social floor on the weekends with the hot tub, bar, 70" TV, sauna and fireplace.  Which floor will you spend your weekends on?

Heavenly Chalet House Rules

These rules are in more detail on the house manual, which also includes the General Share Rules this is just a quick overview and mostly address the neighborhood concerns, they love us but dislike Airbnbs

• Parking:  We have 2+ car parking, but we can fit 4 cars in there if we park smart, there are additional, spots but a little walk up the street. Parking is #1 concern with locals.

• Hot Tub: Indoors! So be careful with spills, use shock after each use, refill any water, follow instructions on hot tub.

• Noise:  County ordinance says quiet hours outdoors are 10pm, but has never been a problem in our area.. and a warm day on the balcony at night is stunning.

• Sheets/Towels:  All are clean and ready for you, once done you must wash & fold them.

• Garbage:  Bears love garbage, it must be put in the dumpster by the cars.

• Fire:  No burning of anything allowed!! From cigarettes' to wood. 

• Other:  The place is newly remodeled, so if you break something you must get it fixed.
