About Vista Villa

 

Relax next to the fireplace in the giant living room with floor to ceiling windows, walk to the lake for gorgeous views and stop at the golf course restaurant for amazing food, then come home and jump in the hot tub under the nights sky or relax on the deck overlooking the golf course with a glass of wine next to the firepit with your cabin share friends.  Some members prefer to do this alone or with their guests, other member enjoy meeting and hanging out with others.

Location:  Tahoe Vista, on a golf course, a short 5 min walk to the beach and town, 7 min drive to North Star (23 min to Squaw).  Kings Beach restaurants and bars are only a 10 minute walk away, TART bus stops 1 block away and takes you all around the lake and Truckee.
 

Facilities: 5 bedrooms (sleeps 16), stocked chef's kitchen,  2.5 bathrooms, 3 living rooms, dining room with table for 12+, computer work spaces, 8 person hot tub, and laundry

Black-out Dates: Exact dates vary and are on the registration calendar.  In general it includes 3 days before and after these 5 holidays:  Xmas, NYE, Thanks Giving, Memorial Day, Labor Day.  Also the entire month of July is not included in the Summer Share.  These dates are crazy busy in Tahoe and the cabin is usually rented out.

What is Unique:  This $1m+ house is big, with space for everyone, and situated in a perfect location by the lake with 4 garages where we have kayaks, SUP boards, beach gear and ski/board storage.  The house is a smart house with lights, tv, etc all connected and great cell phone service.

Vista Villa House Rules

These rules are in more detail on the house manual, which also includes the General Share Rules this is just a quick overview

• Parking:  We have 8+ car parking, please keep them from blocking the streets

• Hot Tub: Use shock after each use, refill any water, follow instructions on hot tub.

• Noise:  County ordinance says quiet hours outdoors are 10pm, including hot tub.

• Sheets/Towels:  All are clean and ready for you, once done you must wash & fold them.

• Garbage:  bears love garbage, it must be put in the bear box.  Pickup is Wednesday am.

• Fire:  No burning of anything allowed!! from cigarettes' to wood. 

• Other:  electric car charging is available from the house but with up-cost.
