About the Truckee Lodge

 

Relax next to the fireplace in the warm living room with in this giant log cabin situated in the woods just off the main road.  The Giant sunny deck, plenty of windows, and log cabin feel with great internet and plenty of work/play space are perfect for your new second home in the mountains.  Location Location Locations everything is right around you from amazing hikes along the stream to an amazing overlook of Donner Lake or hit some of the best mountain biking in Tahoe or practice skiing just out the door on our private mountain runs, or enjoy Truckee then come home and jump in the hot tub under the nights sky or relax on the deck overlooking the golf course with a glass of wine next to the firepit with your cabin share friends.

Location:  The closest location when coming from the bay are, Just 25 min to Palisades or North Star.  Walk 5 min to the Donner Recreation Center for a swimming pool, gym, golf driving range, golf course, and even a private ski mountain!!.
 

Facilities: 4+ giant bedrooms (sleeps 16+), stocked full kitchen,  2+ bathrooms, giant room, dining room with seating for 10+, computer work spaces, 2 decks, grill, shared hot tub, and laundry

Black-out Dates: Exact dates vary and are on the registration calendar, cabin lease members will take a vote on the exact dates.  In general it includes 3 days before and after these 5 holidays:  Xmas, NYE, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day.  .  These dates are crazy busy in Tahoe and the cabin is usually not available.

What is Unique:   Log house with a old time feel and modern time amenities.  The perfect setup for a great social community with lots of storage for your gear and parking.  But the best thing is the LOCATION.  Walk 5 min to the Donner Recreation Center for a swimming pool, gym, golf driving range, golf course, and even a private ski mountain!!

Truckee Lodge House Rules

These rules are in more detail on the house manual, which also includes the General Share Rules this is just a quick overview

• Parking:  8+ car parking

• Hot Tub: Use shock after each use, refill any water, follow instructions on hot tub.

• Noise:  County ordinance says quiet hours outdoors are 9pm, including hot tub.

• Sheets/Towels:  All are clean and ready for you, once done you must wash & fold them.

• Garbage:  Bears love garbage, it must be put in the bear box. 

• Fire:  Gas fireplace. No burning of anything allowed!! From cigarettes' to wood. 

• Other:  Electric car charging is available from the house but with up-cost.
