The club needs you to make us even better! Sure... it's a dream come true too, where we organize a simple social at the clubhouse, or kayak with seals, or painstakingly organize a 24hr excursion, or roast marshmallows on a bonfire, then travel around the world with new amazing friend - its a lot of work but it's also our passion. We hand-pick each and every Urban Diversion team member for their ability to bring their best each and every day and to live as they mean it. The best thing about Urban Diversion is that the events feel like you are out with "friends and friends of friends" that you really get to know instead of hosting tourists. If you are creative, love the detail, and want to be a part of something bigger, we would love to hear from you!
We are actively seeking the following:
Apprenticeship in Adventures, Experiences and Marketing (Part-Time ) Over 20+ years Urban Diversion has created an amazing structure for organizing and executing Event Experiences. We have setup an Apprenticeship program that has has trained and certified professionals from all over the world! Not just hosting events, you will be trained in all portions of the club from experience creation, event advertising and communications, adventure necessities, social connection building and much more. This is a 6-month to 1-year program that is full to part time.
Adventure Engineer™: (Part-Time ) Creating and Hosting events from the concept of the idea with help of our team. If you are ready to create the most amazing backpacking proposal, find a horseback riding campsite, and cook breakfast for 2o people. If you have the skills to lead/co-lead a group hiking twin peaks in SF for a full moon or camping under the stars in the Sierras. So if you like to get outdoorsy and have an awesome personality, then we want to get to know you better! We are looking for a few good people to host 2-8 monthly events.
Local Club Event Coordinators : Want to start your own Mini-Club in your area? are you able to commit to organizing 2-3 events per month for minimum 6 months? We need people to commit to organizing our members in certain area (like Walnut Creek or Mountain View) or genres (such as a UD singles club, or sport club). We will help organize and publish the activities as well as get the members excited about what you have organized. Also, you are able to bring any and all of your friends to the events to make it even better.
Staff Hosts: If you are an experienced host that has organized countless events and been a volunteer host for a while that has excelled, then we would like to have you hosting and running more advanced and complex events.
Volunteer Hosts: If you are a fun active person who wants to host fun active/social events in your area, then we want to talk to you. But you must be the best of the best as we want our events to be top notch, and the great thing is we have a full time staff of Event Coordinators that will be doing all of the hard prep-work for you. In return you will get event credit or if you opt for the 6for6 Program you can earn 6 months free membership after just 6 events hosted
Ambassadors: Not interested in hosting but love what we do and want to help out on making the club amazing?! Become an ambassador and help create the right vibe in the club at events and online. This is a great starting point for showing everyone your amazing personality and giving to the community.
